Neurodivergent Minds Inc.

Where lived experience meets rigorous science.

A Wisconsin nonprofit advancing research, public policy, and tools for neurodivergent adults. Founded on the principle that the people who understand neurodivergence best are the people who live it.

Our Mission

Neurodivergent Minds Inc. sits at the intersection of neurodivergent advocacy, academic research, and applied technology. We focus on legitimizing AI tools as cognitive accommodations under ADA frameworks, producing original scholarship grounded in social capital theory, and building practical resources that serve neurodivergent adults who are smart, skeptical of systems, and looking for solutions that actually work.

Four Pillars

Everything we do is organized around four interconnected commitments.

Advocacy

Consumer protection, disability rights, and systemic accountability for neurodivergent individuals navigating institutions, healthcare, and technology platforms.

Research

Original academic frameworks grounding neurodivergent lived experience in peer-reviewed social science, including the Cognitive-Capital Mediation model and Putnam-based social capital analyses.

Practical Tools

Curated ADHD productivity ecosystems, therapeutic app guidance, AI-integration toolkits, and cognitive accommodation frameworks designed for real-world use.

Community

Plain-language resources for neurodivergent adults, caregivers, and clinicians. Conference presentations, peer connection, and educational outreach.

Who We Serve

Neurodivergent Adults

ADHD productivity ecosystems, AI integration toolkits for daily life, and cognitive accommodation frameworks you can actually use.

Caregivers and Families

Plain-language guides to ADHD support, communication and accommodation strategies, and research summaries in accessible language.

Clinicians and Organizations

AI integration toolkits for behavioral health organizations, evidence-based accommodation frameworks, and ADA compliance guidelines.

Built by a Neurodivergent Mind

Neurodivergent Minds Inc. was founded by Benjamin James Royer, PhD, a neurodivergent researcher and advocate who uses AI as documented cognitive scaffolding for executive function challenges. His work bridges doctoral-level social science with the daily reality of living with ADHD, producing frameworks and tools that serve the community he belongs to.
